Oxford Shirt

This thing is never going to go out of style. Get yourself several colors from stores like J Crew or even somewhere like Gap. It doesn’t really matter. Just make sure it fits properly. No more baggy clothes. You’re not 17 anymore.

The thing we really like about Oxford shirts is that they are so versatile. You can wear them untucked, with a sweater, on their own, with shorts, jeans, slacks, you name it. Whatever you decide to wear alongside, you’ll always look the part with an Oxford shirt.

Decent shirts will cost you no more than $75, so they’re quite affordable. If you’re really struggling for money, you can get them for even less. Shop around. The main thing to keep in mind is fit. That’s more important than anything else.

Brogues

If you really want to be part of what’s trendy today, get yourself a pair of brogues. They have made a massive comeback in recent years and you’ll no doubt be part of the ‘cool crowd’ if you’re spotted wearing a pair of these. Brogues can be worn in different contexts, whether it’s at the office or on a night out. Get yourself a decent leather pair that will last.

Peacoat

The navy peacoat is another classic that will never go out of style. It just oozes that classic look that women love. It works well both during autumn and winter. If it gets a little colder, just add a nice pair of leather gloves and a scarf to complete the look.

Chinos

Chinos are another staple part of any modern man’s wardrobe. They are stylish, comfortable, easy to take care of (i.e. good for the lazy man) and they go with just about anything else you have in your closet. They’re amazing for the whole year round, so there’s no reason not to get yourself a selection in different colors. They’re also extremely affordable. If it’s between an expensive pair of jeans or 3 pairs of classic chinos, we know what we’d choose.
